Skincare CBD FAQs
What does CBD do for the skin?
Cannabidiol (CBD) is a natural compound derived from the cannabis sativa plant, well-known for its anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties.
It can help to ease aches, soothe stress, and hydrate the skin – keeping it radiant and healthy for longer.
CBD is believed to reduce the production of sebum in the skin, which can help to improve the appearance of acne. It’s also considered effective in treating eczema and psoriasis.
If you suffer from dry, sensitive, inflamed, or damaged skin, or you’re looking to reduce the visible signs of ageing, it could be time to add a CBD cream or lotion to your skincare regime.
Here at Peak Organics, we offer a wide range of CBD cosmetics – everything from CBD day creams that give the skin a refreshing boost and eliminate blotches and blemishes to CBD balms that are suitable for all skin types, target muscular and joint pain, and aid sleep.

How often should I use CBD cream?
Typically, our CBD creams and lotions can be used daily.
For the best results, exfoliate before applying a smooth layer of the lotion and pat the skin gently afterwards.
Other CBD skincare products, such as sports rubs and balms, are best applied at bedtime. The reason why is, the active ingredients in the formula can work their magic – targeting troublesome areas and leaving your skin looking and feeling more youthful – whilst you sleep.
As a general rule of thumb, always follow the instructions on the label to determine how often you should apply the formula, how much you should use it, and how to apply it correctly to your skin.
And if you have any other questions or queries, don’t hesitate to ask our experts here at Peak Organics.
Are there any side effects?
At Peak Organics, we can assure you that all of our CBD creams and skincare products are third-party lab-tested to ensure maximum safety and quality.
They’re vegan and vegetarian-friendly and don’t contain tetrahydrocannabinol (THC), which produces a high sensation.
When using CBD skincare, there is a small risk of having an allergic or adverse reaction to the ingredients, but this can occur with any topical lotion – not just CBD creams.
To avoid any unwanted surprises, we recommend performing a patch test by applying a little bit of CBD cream to an area of skin. If no irritation occurs within 24-48 hours, you can use CBD skincare as instructed on the packaging.
If you have any other concerns about using CBD skincare, consult your doctor. They should be able to advise you on whether or not it’s safe for you to use.
